PDF Solutions Buys Fabbrix Inc., Commercializing FCRP Regular Fabrics Research

PDF Solutions, an industry leading provider of yield optimization solutions, has purchased startup Fabbrix Inc, which is commercializing a novel lithography-friendly alternative to today’s cell-based design flows. Fabbrix commercialized reasearch on so-called regular circuit fabrics, done by CMU Prof. Larry Pileggi, and supported in part by C2S2.

Pileggi is a founding member of the C2S2 Executive Committee and leads the C2S2 Silicon Infrastructure Theme.
