Lee and Chandrakasan win Jack Kilby Outstanding Paper Award at ISSCC08
C2S2 researchers Fred S. Lee and Anantha P. Chandrakasan of MIT have won the 2007 ISSCC Jack Kilby Outstanding Student Paper Award for their paper "A 2.5nJ/b 0.65V 3-to-5GHz Subbanded UWB Receiver in 90nm CMOS". The award was presented at the 2008 ISSCC in February. The paper describes an extremely energy efficient receiver architecture that exploits the unique properties of pulsed ultra wide band (UWB) signaling and scaled digital CMOS technology.
