Wireless technology will have significant impact on our lives in the next decade as it draws on the low-cost advances in mainstream CMOS and the strategic advantages of wireless communication. The uncharted wireless applications will demand extended functionalities, size and weight reductions, lowering power consumption, providing wireless power, and autonomy requirements that are set an order of magnitude higher than mainstream commercial needs. This new area of wireless connectivity will merge revolutionary communication and sensing capabilities with a form factor and power budget never before reached.
This Workshop is sponsored by C2S2 and IFC and is intended to advance our understanding of the wireless needs and technology, and promote interactions within the FCRP.
